Overview
Jane is a case study that looks closely at the legalization of cannabis for medicinal purposes – specifically those children that suffer from Davet Syndrome.
Dravet Syndrome, previously known as severe myoclonic epilepsy of infancy (SMEI), is a type of epilepsy that can cause 30+ seizures per week. It is a rare genetic epileptic condition in children. Cannabidiol (CBD) has been shown to cut seizure occurrence by almost 50% in patients with Dravet Syndrome.

Task
The objective of this case study is to uncover the documented medicinal benefits of cannabidiol (CBD) through detailed research, professional studies and user-driven data.
While pursuing my MFA in Graphic Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, I took on this project to help expose the benefits of cannabidiol and the families that are adversly impacted by it's illegal status in many states within the United States.
